Project 365 - Day 279

It was chestnut central outside Ariel's preschool today. The squirrels were everywhere picking them up. Ariel got in on it and collected a bag full for our fall decorations.

Blog tomorrow... sewing tonight. One costume is done! Yay!

The rain is coming again soon... so its nice to enjoy the fall colors before they become gray and squishy.

Found this in the summer at antique shop for a few bucks. The lady selling it liked that I went by 'Jay' so she said it was meant to me mine.

Chocolate was not created equal!

Project 365 - Day 276

Went to a baby shower for my sister in law Josee. I made cupcakes for the occasion, including a white chocolate bird (for the theme of the party). This was my second one as I soon discovered white chocolate chips do NOT melt nicely, they clump! Yuck! Second one with melting chocolate much better!

We got to have our family dinner tonight since we wouldn't all to be together on the actual weekend. Rita had a pretty display set up, including the head of Ariel's sunflower she grew for Dad for grandparents day.
