I love you Nana...

But those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Not much I really want to say yet... I am sure there will be lots in the next few days.... its been a very long day for me... for all of us. When I get a moment to really sit, I know my heart will need to flood out everything that has happened today. All I want to do is go hold my sleeping daughter for a while, I have missed her today.

Nana, I love you. I miss you... and know you are with Mom right now. It hurts so badly that you went so quickly, I wish I had more time with you. Thank you... thank you for everything.

I'm so sorry, Jay. I'm so glad you and your Nana know Jesus because there's no need for empty words of comfort. You know where your Nana is. I wish I could give you a IRL hug. Love ya.

Lois was SUCH a wonderful woman; i have good memories of her coming into the cafe when I worked there, and then attending CPC together for a few years - she was a woman of God.
thinking of you in this valley, praying for the presence of God to be near you and give you strength.

Dear Janet,

During this very sad time, my thoughts are of the wonderful line you and your descendants stem from.

You are so blessed to have had the example of your mum and Nana's courage. You were able to see them draw on God's strength when they had none of your own.

As your grieving progresses, I trust that you will grab hold of this same strength which made them the remarkable women you are so proud of.

With much love, dear,

Jan

I am so sorry for your loss Janet. I know how much your Nana ment to you especially after your mum passed away. I only had the privilage of meeting her once but could tell immediately how special she was. I think one of my favourite videos of her that you posted was that of her finding out that you were having another baby. She was so excited and I love that she was one of the first people you wanted to share it with!

Oh Jay...I am so so sorry. After just losing my Gramps last week, I literally broke down crying when I read your post. Not only is it so fresh for me, but I know you have such a close relationship with your grandparents too. We have been very blessed to have such wonderful mentors and leaders in our families. I will be praying for comfort for you, Papa and the rest of your family. My heart aches for you.
