Today was a day that was about connections. In church our theme has been building connections and relationships with people and community. This tree was created to illustrate that theme, and it hangs in the church sanctuary. Also today was the big USA vs Canada hockey game for the gold medal. We won, in a game that was insanely close and will be remembered for years by everyone in our country (that cares anyways, haha). I am not much for hockey, but the feeling that came from this Olympics in our city changed us... I can't describe it, but the best way is to say, there is a sense of community with us all being Canadian... and proud of it... and proud to finally show it.... eh!
