Well, we survived! Lol, yes the big birthday party has come and gone. It rained in the end but it was ok. The kids happily played inside, and it all worked out perfectly. We had a blast and everyone seemed to enjoy all the fun and food. What's not to like about a chocolate fountain!?
Of course we took tons of pictures and the only way to share them all is a slide show. So here are the highlights!
As promised, here is the link to read the story we wrote for Ariel. Ariel loved it! Ken also performed a little Muppet bit for the kids. Hee. We also showed the annual montage of pictures from over the year. Its amazing how much she has changed and grown. Wow.
Ariel got some lovely gifts, a play kitchen, doctor kit, tea set, books, new handmade coat, dress up boa, cute handmade apron and mitts, art supplies, some adorable outfits and a special day out with Aunty Kara. Needless to say she was very blessed. We are so thankful for our friends and family and we are glad we could celebrate together.
So in the end, it was a great success and we are happy... and also happy its over, lol. On to vacation! Yes, we are going to spend the next couple of days preparing for Yellowstone by doing laundry, packing and cleaning the house. Whee!

The book you guys made for her is so cute! What a wonderful thing for her to have for when she gets older.
Sounds like you had a great day! Now I want a chocolate fountain...

I agree with Amy... You did a fabulous job of tying everything together. LOVE her cakes and the story was awesome. The girls made me read it to them 2 times. :) Ariel really has changed a lot in the last year! Oh- and the girls love her kitchen too! Very cute!
