It was another rainy day and we were up early to drop the car off at the garage to get the oil leak finally fixed... ugh, it had to happen in a place that is uber expensive to fix of course. Blah. Oh well, its still a good car. Anyhoo, Dad picked Ariel and I up at the lot and brought us over to his place for waffles. Yum.
Ariel was having a great time with Grandpa, Rita and Katie. Playing guitar...
... going for walks to see the ducks and fish (and coming back with big leaves)...
...and blowing bubbles.
We ended up staying for lunch too as we were waiting for the call from the garage. Ariel ate one and a half bananas, and a whole chicken sandwich herself! I do believe a growth spurt is coming, or she has a hollow leg! Finally we got the call on the details of the car, and had to pick up a courtesy car till ours would be finished late Monday afternoon. Needless to say Ariel wasn't happy about leaving... many tears.
When we got home, Ken was there, finished teaching for the day. Ariel went down for a nap and Ken and I made up some popcorn and watched 'One Crazy Summer' on the couch. Gosh I love that movie, they really don't make ones like those anymore.
Speaking of movies, while looking through the pictures I took today, I came across this one. Um, Ariel looks a lot like Drew Berrymore did as a young girl! Whoa, kinda crazy!!! As long as she doesn't follow suit with the drugs, drinking and flashing David Letterman her tatas, I don't mind the resemblance.
Doesn't she look older with her hair all up like this? Gosh, where did my baby girl go?
Tonight after dinner, Ariel was in a dancing mood, so I hope you enjoy Ariel's Saturday Night Fever! Hee!
