Friends are fun!

Just a quick post since its laundry night, exciting I know. Anyhoo, today was the day Ariel had been waiting for all week, her buddy Carter was coming over for a play date! Its been awhile since these guys have had some one on one time, and it is still amazing to me that these are the same little babies! This was their first play date from back in 2006.


We slept in till 9am this morning which was awesome. I got to bed late last night, and Ariel woke up early to nurse and went back down. By the time we had breakfast, Ariel was already for her guest and waited by the window to see him arrive.


Erin and Carter arrived and once they both got warmed up, they were super cute together. Lots of hugs, it was really sweet. Awe!


The stairs were an exciting spot to play, Carter showed Ariel his fancy jumping. She was very impressed, but what young lady wouldn't be?

It was great to visit with Erin and have lunch together. We will have to do it again for sure. After lunch we played a bit more and then it was time to part as both kids needed naps. Before they left, they gave Ariel a sweet little Valentines present of some fish crackers and a coloring book. So sweet guys, thank you!


After naptime, Ariel happily played with her toys, and read some books.


She then wanted to get some exercise since we were cooped up all day due to rain. So we had a dance party.


Need some video too, as she has some new moves. Haha.



Ok, better get back to my chores, and try and catch the escapee.
