Crash, Bang, Boom... but I am sure this will happen a lot!

Ariel has suffered, or maybe its more so us, another boo boo. Last night while playing around, she did a header right into the corner of the coffee table. It was one of those moments where Ken and I both winced and waited for the wail. Sure enough, Ariel had a dent in her head, and it turned blue pretty fast. Luckily for us, she loves using the Mr Bump gel pack, and so the swelling and bruising is really not bad today at all. However the coffee table may not get off so easily as I am keeping my eyes out for something smaller and less pointy.

Today was a bit of everything day. We went down to brace the lines at the post office since I totally forgot that I had to get a money order for Ken's student loan payments. Looking forward to those being done soon, yay. Ariel did very well and entertained the people in line with her words and smiles.

Speaking of mail, we got six Christmas cards today! Wow! Thanks everyone!

Then we went to Stella's and had a visit with Jackie who was there too. Dropped off the fixed cross stitch and something for Kara's stocking, HAHAHA, can't tell. Hee. Then went to Nana's to pick up Ariel's laundry and Papa to take him to the garage to pick up their car.

We came home and Ariel literally fell asleep in her chair after her lunch. Guess it was a busy morning for her too. I must have needed some sleep too because I fell asleep on the couch for an hour or so. It was heaven, until I had to get up to make dinner.

Ken got home, had dinner and went out to pick up the cardboard to make the props for the Sunday school play. Lots of sheep are in our living room. Toby is coming over tomorrow night to help paint them, should be fun.

Tonight we were totally video happy, and captured 4 funny clips of Ariel. The first two demonstrate some of her words, although for some silly reason she wouldn't say daddy on camera. As well as her knowledge of her body parts. When the first video starts, she was saying 'horse', but I didn't start in time, so its kinda cut off.

Then Ariel wanted to see herself in the camera. For those who don't believe that she ever cries, here it is on film!

Finally, Ariel reads for daddy. We think she sounds like an Ewok. I wish we knew what she was saying. Any ideas?

She is such a little sweetie. Our little Ewok. Hehehe. Oh, 13 days to go. Whee!

Hahahahaha!! Thanks for the laughs! Poor thing thought she lost her belly button! And that Ewok -- so precious!

Awe, poor kiddo! That's a goose egg to be proud of! What's the "official" story behind it? Barfight? Zebra stampede?

FABULOUS videos. SOOOO cute!
that is QUITE the bruiser she's got!
and though you've documented her 2-second cry on video, i think that's probably only the first time she's EVER cried ;)

Jackson and I watched those together. He kept poking Ariel in the face and clapping for her. I think he was impressed.
