More Coughing

Well Ariel is continuing to cough and have a pretty runny nose, so I am keeping a close eye on her. Still no change in energy, eating or showing signs of fever, so I guess we just have to wait it out. Thanks for your kind comments and suggestions, I will give the vicks a try for sure!

It was dumping rain again today on and off, which made it another inside day. Ariel was eagerly waiting for the mail man today with me, and huzzah, our big box of presents from Grammy and family arrived today! Very exciting, whee!


I unloaded the gifts under the tree, and Ariel didn't care too much, she was busy playing DJ on the stereo going back and forth between the Christmas CD and the radio station.


We did zip out to the store briefly for diapers and came home in time to say goodbye to the sheep. Julie's mom was picking them up to take them to Vancouver for Julie. Its neat that they are off to star in another show. Ariel kissed them goodbye. Awe.


After a short nap, Ariel snuggled with puppy and her sippy cup on the couch. Puppy had joined her during nap time today, they are best friends.


We then went over to Nana's for dinner since Uncle Bill and Grandma Jerry were in town. Ariel enjoyed playing with Papa and the funny Christmas singing toy.


It took awhile for Ariel to warm up to the new faces, but eventually she let Uncle Bill read a book with her.


After dinner Ariel even got to open some presents from Uncle Bill and Aunt Penny (we missed you!). It was good unwrapping practice, and she did very well.


Oooh, a new toy that makes noise! Yay! It was very cool and Ariel was thrilled! She was so into it that she didn't want to open the other bag.


After hiding the toy, we got her to do the next one, and inside was a cute pig flashlight that oinked! That was really funny. Can you see us camping and using it to go to the outhouse in the night, oinking all the way? Hahaha.


Ariel then discovered the gift card to McDonald's! It came in a fry box and she kept looking for the fries! She will be one Happy Meal kid! Wonder if she will treat us? Thank you so much for the great gifts! We love you both!


We visited for a bit longer and then got packed up to come home. It was nice to have a brief but fun visit with them.


To close, here is card of the past number 2. This was the year 'Lilo and Stitch' came out and we were obsessed with it, so we put Stitch in our drawing. Yes, we are strange. Hehe. Our hamster also made an appearance that year. I miss that little fuzz ball.
